Local-first storage

In local mode, your media files, transcripts, settings, and AI API keys are stored in your browser. They are not uploaded to ScribeSE servers for transcription.

Optional cloud features

If you sign in and choose cloud mode, selected account and workspace data may be stored so you can access it across devices.

AI providers

When you connect an external AI provider, requests are sent to that provider under its own terms. You control which provider and API key you use.
